A great way to start our two-days of meetings and deputations today at Parliament House in Brisbane, meeting with Department of Natural Resources Director-General Warwick Agnew and his team.
Always great to catch up with the Queensland Resources Council team at Parliament House today. A valuable opportunity to discuss the future of the industry and the important role that the resources industry plays in SWQ communities.
Starting off our second day of meetings and deputations in Brisbane, with a breakfast meeting with members of the State Opposition to discuss key issues in SWQ.
Deputy Chair, Cr Shaun "Zoro" Radnedge, also took the opportunity to gain another Bilby supporter for Brisbane 2032 mascot.
It was great to meet some of the Brisbane Airport Corporation team and learn more about airport operations and timetabling. We really appreciate your efforts and time taken to engage with us and look forward to further discussions about how to provide positive outcomes for the communities of SWQ.
